Typography for Presentations, Websites and Research Papers

In this workshop, I introduced some simple typesetting techniques to help improve your presentations, papers and web articles.

I posted my Typography Workshop talk. The links to websites, books and films about type are probably the most helpful resource.

I gave a bit of a show and tell about the history of fonts, use of Futura in Aaron Draplin's Field Notes and Royal Tenenbaum’s World of Futura site put together by Mark Simonson and basic info about letters, text and grids.

The bulk of the talk was showing how to use styles to format a document.
