UCLA Bruin Tech VP of community events

I’m running to be VP of community events for UCLA BruinTech executive board for 2019.

Here's my nomination statement.

Scott Gruber is a web developer who likes to build sites that work for everyone, load fast and look good. He has twenty-years experience at UCLA in project management, technology and communications. He works at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.

He is a member of UCLA's UX Group, Email Marketing Group and DataViz Group. And volunteers on UCLA Health System's Patient Technology Council. He is a Carpentries instructor, a W3C certified front end developer and runs CSS.la, an LA web design meetup. He is a life long learner.

As VP of community events, he'll work with you and fellow Bruins to share code, technique and design at UCLA.
