Hikianalia California Voyage

I’m curating a Twitter moment about the Hikianalia California Voyage to share my excitement about this historic adventure.

The Hikianalia canoe is on a 2,800-mile deep sea ocean crossing to San Francisco for the Global Climate Action Summit. @GCAS2018 @HokuleaWWV

They plan to sail down the coast of California visiting ports along the way to San Diego where they will prepare for the voyage back to Hawaii in December 2018.

I'm hoping to welcome them at one of their ports of call near Los Angeles. My guess is that they'll stop at either San Pedro or Long Beach harbors.

Note: I got to board the Hikianalia during a tour in Redondo Beach Harbor! Made new friends.
